Data Governance Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of the enterprise Data Governance framework, policies, standards, and operating model.

  • Manage Data Governance initiatives in line with business and regulatory requirements.

  • Implement Data Governance capabilities, including Metadata Management, Data Quality, Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage, and Data Privacy, using Informatica Axon and EDC.

  • Perform data profiling, identify data quality issues, and implement corrective actions.

  • Establish data management processes to improve data consistency, accessibility, and governance.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a data-driven culture and ensure trusted data supports decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of experience in Data Governance and Data Management.

  • Strong knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK or other recognized Data Governance frameworks; CDMP is highly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with Informatica Axon and EDC, including Metadata Management, Data Quality, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, and Data Catalog.

  • Experience implementing Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Catalog solutions.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
