Data Management Consultant

Job Description:

• 7+ years of work experience

• Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide your team members

• Have Decision-making and organizational abilities to help you effectively manage workload

• Able to give clear instructions and set expectations

• Strong technical skills

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving and skills

• Has mature written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills.

• Able to handle multiple concurrent projects, with an ability to prioritize and manage projects effectively.

• Experience in coordinating with data stewards and analysts to understand business requirements, functional requirements, and conversion of business rules into technical specifications

• Experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing and Support of Data Warehousing and Data Integration Solutions and ETL data pipelines

• Experience SQL, UNIX/Linux, various programming languages like Java and Python, orchestration tools and processes or other directly related experience.

• Good experience in end-to-end implementation of DW & BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments

• Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, Modeling of Unstructured Data and business process relationships

• Experience with Big data technologies

• Good understanding of Data integration, Data quality paradigms and data governance/ data architecture concepts

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for data engineering and analytics workloads; any relevant cloud certification (e.g. AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer, GCP Professional Data Engineer) is a must

• Experience with modern cloud data platforms; Databricks or Snowflake is highly recommended for data lakehouse, data warehousing, and large-scale analytics use cases

• Working knowledge of Apache Spark for distributed data processing and large-scale transformations; experience with PySpark or Spark SQL is a plus

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines and version control using Git/GitHub, including branching strategies, pull requests, and automated pipeline deployment

• Experience working in Agile framework and project management methodologies

• Full lifecycle project experience as a developer in designing and developing ETL jobs. Ability to mentor others, including peers and application developers, clearly explain complex technical issues to business analysts and end users
